ICM Promotes 9 Agents to Partner Status

ICM Partners has upped nine agents to partner status, bringing the agency’s total roster of partners to 47.

Promotions went to publishing agent Alexandra Machinist in New York and eight from Los Angeles: Jessica Lacy, head of international and independent film; Dennis Ashley and Robert Gibbs, co-heads of West Coast urban music; TV lit agents Erik Horine, Dan Norton and Pete Stone; Sean Freidin, co-head of TV production; and motion picture lit agent Doug Johnson.

“We founded ICM Partners on the principle of rewarding success and providing an opportunity for growth for our agents.  The spirit of teamwork and collegiality that we envisioned is embodied by this outstanding group of agents,” the partners said in a statement.

ICM shifted to a partner-owned structure in May 2012 following the buyout of the agency from its private equity owner, Rizvi Traverse. The last large-scale promotions came in October 2013, when 11 were upped to partner status.
