Watch: Matt Dillon Is Instructed to Kill in Bloody ‘Wayward Pines’ Trailer

Matt Dillon gets an ominous anonymous phone call commanding him to kill the man in front of him in the new trailer for the Fox miniseries “Wayward Pines.”

“Do not try to leave,” “Do not discuss the past” and “Always answer the phone if it rings” are a few of the other bizarre instructions he’s given after his character — a Secret Service agent — stumbles into, and is later trapped in, a small, spooky town in Idaho.

The mystery thriller was created by Chad Hodge based on Blake Crouch’s novel “Pines,” and executive produced by M. Knight Shyamalan, Donald De Line and Ashwin Rajan.

The star-studded cast also includes Terrence Howard (he booked the gig before being cast in “Empire”), Juliette Lewis, Toby Jones, Melissa Leo, Shannyn Sossaman and Carla Gugino.

Wayward Pines” premieres on May 14.
