NBC is staying in business with “Undateable” producers Adam Sztykiel and Bill Lawrence.

The network has set up another comedy from the duo — a series inspired by the life of comedian Vladimir Caamaño, Variety has learned. Titled “Vlad,” Caamaño is set to star in the potential series, which has landed a put pilot commitment at NBC.

The 30-minute, multi-camera family comedy is loosely based on Vladimir Caamaño’s real-life family dynamic living with his Dominican father and older brother in the Bronx.

Sztykiel and Caamaño will pen the project, hailing from Lawrence’s Doozer production banner and Warner Bros. TV. Caamaño will pull triple duty, also serving as a co-exec producer, while Sztykiel and Lawrence will exec produce with Doozer’s Jeff Ingold.

For Sztykiel, “Vlad” marks his second creator credit, as he created NBC’s “Undateable,” currently airing live on Friday nights. Lawrence and Ingold also exec produce the live sitcom.
