The Comic-Con community got a taste of “Colony” on July 10, when USA hosted a panel that debuted details of its dystopian drama that reunites star Josh Holloway with his “Lost” co-creator Carlton Cuse.

The series stars Holloway as an FBI agent determined to reunite his family after an alien invasion separates him and his wife (“The Walking Dead’s” Sarah Wayne Callies) from their son. It’s exec produced by Cuse and Ryan Condal (“Hercules”). In addition to a trailer, which is included here, fans who were able to attend the panel also got a glimpse of 11 minutes of the show’s first episode.

“Colony” premieres this October on USA. The series is being heavily promoted at Comic-Con, where attendees can enjoy complimentary rides in a fleet of branded “Colony” military vehicles and SUVs thanks to a partnership between USA and Uber. There are also “Colony”-branded pedicabs and bikes from San Diego’s DecoBike bikeshare program as well as actors dressed in the show’s military fatigue costumes.
