Rosenstock’s new task will be to expand Vice into international markets as the company continues to enter multi-platform partnerships for distribution. He will report to Vice co-president James Schwab in his new role.
Rosenstock most previously worked as exec vice president of corporate development at Discovery Communications, where he was credited as instrumental in growing their international and digital businesses.
“Jay’s been at the forefront of building some of the great international media businesses of the last decade. Jay’s range of global relationships, deal-making skills and experience across television, film, music, education, sports and digital content distribution is a perfect fit for Vice,” said Schwab.
The news comes as Vice continues to expand its senior staff before the company launches a cable TV network with A+E Networks.
