While no city setting has yet been chosen for the new season, nationwide casting is under way for the next round of the culinary competition. Casting kicks off in Nashville Feb. 3 and then heads to Seattle, Brooklyn, Chicago and Los Angeles.
The current season, which took place in Boston, is in the midst of its three-part on-location finale in Mexico, returning with part two on Feb. 4.
“Top Chef” is produced by Magical Elves with exec producers Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz.
Season 13 is slated to premiere in the fall.
