Watch: Mulder & Scully Come Face-to-Face Again in New ‘X-Files’ Teaser

Mulder and Scully are back together once again — and there’s footage from the new Fox revival series to prove it.

“Are you ready for this Scully?” Mulder (David Duchovny) asks of his partner (Gillian Anderson) in the new teaser. She responds, “I don’t know there’s a choice.”

Last Thursday, the network released footage from the hotly anticipated reboot during “Wayward Pines,” and tonight, Mulder and Scully came back for more during the “Pines” finale.

The X-Files” six-episode event series will bring back Duchovny and Anderson, plus original characters Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) and The Smoking Man (William B. Davis).

New faces for the reboot include Robbie Amell (“The Flash”) and Lauren Ambrose (“Six Feet Under”) who will appear in one episode, as Agent Miller and Agent Einstein, respectively. Miller is described as “smart” and “smooth,” while Einstein is “sharp” and “confident.”

In anticipation of “The X-Files” premiere on Jan. 24, 2016, Fox’s “201 days” event is showing one episode per day in chronological order for 201 days, completing the series’ entire run (201 episodes in total), just one day before the revival debut.
