A “24” alum is now taking on “The Frankenstein Code.”

Brad Turner has signed on as an executive producer and producing director on Fox’s “The Frankenstein Code,” Variety has learned exclusively.

The upcoming sci-fi drama, inspired by the mythology in the original Mary Shelley “Frankenstein” novel, centers on Jimmy Pritchard (Rob Kazinksy), a morally corrupt cop given a second chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. With his new youth and strength, Pritchard will face old temptations and a new sense of purpose.

Dilshad Vadsaria, Adhir Kalyan, Tim DeKay and Ciara Bravo also star.

Howard Gordon is exec producing the series, written and exec produced by Rand Ravich. Turner has previously worked with Gordon on “Homeland,” for which Turner directed an episode in 2011.

Turner previously earned an Emmy as an exec producer and director on Fox’s “24.” He most recently served as co-executive producer on MTV’s “The Shannara Chronicles,” and previously worked on “Hawaii Five-O” as a co-executive producer/director, as well as directing several episodes of “Nikita” and “Prison Break.”

Turner is repped by APA and Ziffren, Brittenham, Branca, Fischer, Gilbert-Lurie, Stiffelman, Cook, Johnson, Lande & Wolf.
