TV Land has given “The Exes” the boot after four seasons.

Star Kristen Johnston announced the news Monday night on Twitter. “Well, it’s official: LAST 6 eps of @The_Exes EVER start airing this Weds. Even great ratings can’t #SaveGoodTV,” she wrote.

She later added, “Honestly, we all knew it was a probability. The last 6 are the best yet.” TV Land confirmed the news.

Donald Faison, Wayne Knight and David Alan Basche also star in the comedy. The series was created by Mark Reisman, and executive produced by Reisman, Franco Bario, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis.

Betty White’s “Hot in Cleveland” and Cedric the Entertainer’s “The Soul Man” were both also recently cancelled by the network.

The comedy resumed its fourth season in July. The series finale will air on September 16.
