Taylor Lautner, J.K. Simmons Added to ‘Think It Up’ Live Telecast

Taylor Lautner and J.K. Simmons have joined the long list of celebrities confirmed to participate in Think It Up, the live telecast powered by the Entertainment Industry Foundation (known for Stand Up to Cancer), the org announced Thursday.

Lautner and Simmons will join Jason Bateman, Halle Berry, Julie Chen, Terry Crews, Jennifer Garner, Joe Manganiello and Seth Meyers on the star-studded guest list.

Justin Bieber and Kacey Musgraves have also been confirmed to provide musical performances for the one-hour special. The live broadcast will air from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on the big four networks on Sept. 11.

Think It Up is the org’s latest education initiative campaign that aims to bring a new wave of support to education as a pathway to success for the nation’s young people.

“The entire Think It Up show is about creating energy,” said Evan Prager from Den of Thieves, the event’s producers. “We’ll have a large standing audience and our celebrity talent will be able to interact with the kids on the floor and create a genuine connection.”

Prager added, “Think It Up is an incredibly exciting initiative and with the help of all the celebrities that have agreed to participate, we are going to help make this one-hour special an incredible launch for this important movement.”

“Think It Up” airs at 8 p.m. on Sept. 11 on ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC.
