Iddo Goldberg, star of “Salem” and “Peaky Blinders,” plays Dr. T.O. Morrow, aka Red Tornado, in the upcoming TV adaptation.
Red Tornado is an android designed by Morrow himself for the U.S. Army. However, the superweapon built to fight national enemies soon becomes the threat himself.
“Supergirl” executive producer Greg Berlanti told Variety that Red Tornado “has an affiliation with General Lane,” the father of Lois and Lucy Lane. DC villains Livewire, Reactron and Non will also make an appearance in season one.
“Supergirl” stars Melissa Benoist as Superman’s cousin Kara Zor-el. The show follows her as she learns to embrace her superpowers.
The CBS series, which also stars Calista Flockhart, premieres at 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 26.
