Shondaland is trying again with comedy development, setting up a project about suburban singles at ABC from “Trophy Wife” creators Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins.

“Splitsville” revolves around a group of single residents of a suburban cul-de-sac who join forces to raise their kids together. Halpern and Haskins are writing the pilot and exec produce with Shondaland’s Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers for ABC Studios.

Halpern and Haskins, repped by UTA, fielded ABC’s critically praised 2013-14 season sitcom “Trophy Wife.” Last year they developed an untitled project with Eva Longoria at ABC. Halpern spent two seasons working as a story editor on Shondaland’s “Private Practice” from 2007-2009.

Shondaland last year developed a comedy featuring Greg Grunberg and Scott Foley that has been rolled into the current development cycle.
