Watch: First Teaser for ‘Sharknado 3’ Released

The sharks are back.

Syfy released a 20-second trailer for the third installment of fan-favorite phenomenon “Sharknado,” which is officially titled “Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!”

This time, the airborne sharks are set to cause mass destruction on Washington D.C., before heading down the Eastern Seaboard and into Florida. In the teaser, a giant shark plops onto the Lincoln Memorial Statue — and that’s just one of many absurdly awesome moments from the first video.

The trailer also gives a glimpse of Mark Cuban who plays the President of the United States in the TV movie, and seemingly Fin’s (Ian Ziering) sidekick ready to take down sharks.

Anne Coulter has been cast as the Vice President, alongside a slew of other guest stars. David Hasselhoff will play Fin’s father; Jerry Springer will play a manic tourist, Mr. White; NSYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick will play a pool lifeguard; and WWE star Chris Jericho will play Bruce, the roller coaster ride operator.

Tara Reid returns as April. The regular cast is rounded out by Cassie Scerbo, Ryan Newman, Jack Griffo and Bo Derek who will play April’s mother, May.

Anthony C. Ferrante returns to direct the third telepic from a screenplay by Thunder Levin. “Sharknado 3” is a production of The Asylum.

“Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!” premieres July 22.
