The Emmy-winning producer’s credits include six years at Rachael Ray’s eponymous syndicated talk show and, most recently, at VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live With Nick Lachey” and “The Gossip Table.”
He is joined by Rebecca Mayer as co-executive producer, who co-exec produced the “FabLife” pilot, and Karl Newton and George Davilas as senior supervising producers. Newton’s credits include the U.K. morning show “Daybreak.” Davilas is an Emmy winner for the syndicated talk show “The Doctors,” which he also launched.
“We have strategically assembled a diverse team with strong leadership in Shane Farley and co-ep, Rebecca Mayer, who will join executive producers Tyra Banks and Mark Schulman,” said Lisa Hackner, ABC Entertainment’s exec VP of daytime & syndicated programming, who made the announcement. “This is a dream team of award-winning television producers culled from the daytime world as well as cable reality, and together they are uniquely positioned to launch a modern and innovative new daytime franchise this fall.”
“FabLife” will premiere in September. It will focus on Banks and a panel of guests that will include model Chrissy Teigen and Yahoo Style’s Joe Zee. It is produced by Disney/ABC’s Summerdale Productions and distributed by Disney | ABC Domestic Television.
