Rick Cosnett has found new life after “The Flash.”

The CW alum has joined ABC’s upcoming thriller “Quantico,” Variety has learned. His casting comes after his character was killed off on “The Flash.”

Cosnett has been set in a recurring role as Elias Harper, an openly gay former defense attorney who’s recruited into the FBI as an analyst, thanks to his brilliant mind, rhetoric and savvy character. Elias is described as incredibly funny with a soft and kind-hearted side, though he loves to be right.

“Quantico,” which bows on Sept. 27, centers on a diverse group of recruits as they arrive at the FBI Quantico Base for training, and though it seems impossible, one of them is suspected of masterminding the biggest attack on New York City since 9/11.

The series is toplined by Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra. “Ballers'” Anabelle Acosta also just joined the high-stakes drama in a recurring role, and “Cougar Town” alum Josh Hopkins has been set as a series regular.

“Quantico” hails from ABC Studios and is exec produced by Joshua Safran, Mark Gordon, Nicholas Pepper, Jake Coburn and Robert Sertner.
