Like the teaser video that came before it, the poster for season six of “The Walking Dead” suggests isolation as a war brews in AMC’s hugely successful post-apocalyptic series.

Typography fans will also take note that the art, which is posted below, seems to be using the “W” to take a bite out of (or claw at?) Andrew Lincoln’s gun-holding lead character, Rick Grimes.

The Comic-Con trailer for the new season of the show teased a battle between Rick and his former ally Morgan (Lennie James), who returned to the zombie drama last season just as Rick performed a deadly act.

“We sometimes play with the truth in trailers,” showrunner Scott Gimple warned after that video aired, but added that this season, “Rick is faced with challenges to the way he does things.”

“The Walking Dead” returns to AMC with a 90-minute premiere on Oct. 11. Its companion series, “Fear the Walking Dead,” has its season one finale the week before on Oct. 4.
