NBC has picked up its fourth drama pilot for the 2015-16 cycle, “Game Of Silence.”
The hour-long thriller from Sony Pictures TV and Carol Mendelsohn Productions follows a successful rising attorney who could lose it all when his long-lost childhood friends threaten to expose a dark, violent secret from their past.
Carol Mendelsohn, former showrunner of “CSI,” will serve as exec producer on the legal drama, along with Julie Weitz and David Hudgins (“Parenthood,” “Friday Night Lights”). Hudgins will pen the pilot.
“Game Of Silence” is based on the Turkish series of the same name.
NBC previously ordered dramas “Warrior,” “Love Is A Four Letter Word” and “Curse of Fuentes Woman” from “Ugly Betty” exec producer Silvio Horta.
