NATPE has named Matt Palmer to the newly created post of chief marketing officer.
Palmer will spearhead strategy and creative for the non-profit TV industry association’s branding, digital, research, public relations and strategic planning initiatives. He comes to the org with a deep background in TV marketing from exec posts at Disney Channel, Viacom and Discovery Channel, as well has having worked in the hospitality realm as a consultant.
Palmer will be tasked with expanding NATPE’s marketing initiatives beyond its annual programming conference in January, NATPE president Rod Perth said.
“Matt’s extensive industry background and strategic competencies both in traditional and digital sectors make him a perfect fit for this newly created role,” Perth said.
