‘Monopoly Millionaires’ Club’ Sets Season 2 Premiere Date

“Monopoly Millionaires’ Club,” the syndicated, Las Vegas-set continuation of the multistate lottery game, will debut its second season on September 12.

The show is moving to a half hour format this season after having an hour format last year. On each episode, “Mike and Molly” star Billy Gardell and local game co-host Todd Newton (“Family Game Night“) guide contestants through a series of games inspired by Monopoly for a chance to win a million dollars.

During its 12-episode first season, the TV game show gave away more than $5 million in cash and prizes to audience members and contestants, awarding two $1 million grand prizes to individuals from the Georgia Lottery and Rhode Island Lottery, marking a record for the most money a television game show has ever given away in its first season.

“We’re headed back to Vegas with hundreds of lucky contestants ready for their shot at winning life-changing money,” said Gardell. “We made two millionaires last season, and I want to see if we can break that record this time around.”

The game show can be seen on stations owned by Tribune, Sinclair, Hearst, CBS, TEGNA, Media General, Graham Holdings and other groups covering more than 90% of U.S. TV households. Check local listings for airtimes.

The “Monopoly Millionaires’ Club” TV game show is a companion to the multi-state instant lottery game of the same name. The series was created by Scientific Games under license from Hasbro and is based on the Monopoly brand.
