Shondaland has found its newest leading lady: Mireille Enos.

“The Killing” actress will star in Shonda Rhimes’ drama pilot “The Catch,” Variety has learned.

Enos has been cast as the lead heroine, Alice Martin, a woman who investigates fraud for a living. The thriller follows her as she’s about to get married — and about to get conned. And unbeknownst to the man she’s about to marry, Alice is not all she claims to be. When her fiancé’s expertly planned con collides with her perfectly constructed lies, the couple plunges into a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

Jacky Ido (“Taxi Brooklyn”) has been cast as series regular, Delgado, a hard-nosed, smart FBI agent who becomes suspicious of Alice.

“The Catch” hails from Rhimes and Betsy Beers, the team behind ABC mega-hits “Scandal,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “How to Get Away With Murder,” who will exec produce under their Shondaland banner, alongside Jennifer Schuur and Julie Anne Robinson through her Canny Lads Prods. Schuur penned the pilot and Robinson will direct. The project, which will shoot in Austin, Texas, is based on the novel from Kate Atkinson, who will serve as a co-exec producer with Helen Gregory. ABC Studios will produce.

Enos is repped by CAA, Gartner/Green Entertainment and attorney Mitch Smelkinson. Ido is repped by Primary Wave.
