She’s been cast as the female lead in the new drama from executive producer Jason Katims (“Parenthood”), which is slated to premiere this winter on Hulu.
Monaghan will play Sarah Cleary, a high level member of a controversial movement navigating the truths — and untruths — colliding in her life.
The 10-episode series — which was created by Jessica Goldberg — examines a family at the center of that movement struggling with relationships, marriage and power.
The project hails from Universal Television and Katims’ True Jack Productions, and will be executive produced by Goldberg, along with Katims and Michelle Lee of True Jack. Mike Cahill (“Another Earth”) will direct the first episode.
