HBO has cancelled sophomore series “Looking.”

The half-hour series that ended its second season on March 22 will wrap up with a final special to close out the various storylines.

“After two years of following Patrick and his tight-knit group of friends as they explored San Francisco in search of love and lasting relationships, HBO will present the final chapter of their journey as a special,” HBO said in a statement. “We look forward to sharing this adventure with the shows loyal fans.”

“Looking,” which spanned 18 episodes, followed a group of gay friends living in San Francisco.

The dramedy, starring legit veteran Jonathan Groff, received critical praise and garnered a strong fan base over its two seasons, yet struggled to pull in a big audience.

Created by Michael Lannan, Frankie J. Alvarez, Murray Bartlett, Lauren Weedman, Russell Tovey, and Raul Castillo rounded out the cast.
