Nostalgia may be all the rage on television these days, but Lifetime’s “Unauthorized Full House Movie” delivered merely average overall ratings on Saturday night.

According to Nielsen, 1.57 million tuned in to the premiere, on par with last year’s “Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Movie” (1.59 million). This makes it the fifth largest tune-in of the summer for an original Lifetime movie, a list topped by Will Ferrell-Kristen Wiig pic “A Deadly Adoption” in June (2.06 million).

Review: ‘The Unauthorized Full House Story’

The movie did bring a younger skew to Lifetime, with its median age of 46 the lowest of any original movie on the network this year. In the key demo of adults 18-49, the 0.61 rating for “Unauthorized Full House Movie” ranks second among Lifetime originals, closely behind the 0.63 for “A Deadly Adoption.”

“Unauthorized Full House Story” was cable’s No. 1 program of the night in both women 18-49 (0.93 rating) and women 25-54 (1.02 rating).
