Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Haley Joel Osment Join IFC’s ‘The Spoils Before Dying’

Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Haley Joel Osment have joined the cast of the IFC comedy miniseries “The Spoils Before Dying.”

Michael Kenneth Williams and Will Ferrell star in the six-part mini revolving around a murder mystery set against the backdrop of the Los Angeles jazz scene in 1962.

“Spoils” hails from Ferrell’s Funny or Die production banner and is exec produced by Ferrell, Adam McKay, Matt Piedmont, Andrew Steele and Nate Young. Steele and Piedmont wrote the script, with Piedmont also directing.

Wiig’s performance in the first installment of the franchise, 2014’s “The Spoils of Babylon,” earned her an Emmy nomination for lead actress in a miniseries. “Spoils Before Dying” is now lensing for a summer debut.
