Kelly Osbourne is exiting “Fashion Police,” E! confirmed Friday.
In a statement, the cable net announced, “Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s ‘Fashion Police’ to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers.”
The news comes just days after co-host Giuliana Rancic made remarks on the Feb. 23 show about Disney starlet Zendaya, saying her dreadlocked hairstyle at the Oscars probably “smells like patchouli oil” or “weed,” which was understood by some to be racially insensitive.
Following the stir, Osbourne took to her Twitter to express her frustration in a series of tweets.
I DID NOT MAKE THE WEED COMENT. I DO NOT CONDONE RACISM SO AS A RSULT OF THIS IM SEREIOULSY QUESTIONONIG STAYING ON THE SHOW!

Since, Rancic made a public apology to Zendaya on Twitter and during an “E! News” broadcast, which Zendaya accepted.
Osbourne followed with another tweet, seemingly appearing to forego the issue, praising both parties involved.
It takes a strong women to apologize & makes a forgiving women even stronger! #ThisTooShallPass
