Variety and unite4:good’s second annual unite4:humanity event, presented by Alcatel OneTouch, brought out Hollywood A-listers who were honored for their to charity work.

Variety spoke with the honorees at the Feb. 19 fete, held at the Beverly Hilton, all about the special causes for which they were awarded:

Creative Conscience recipient Halle Berry who was recognized for her work with domestic violence intervention program The Jenesse Center; Aaron Paul won the Unite2gether Award with his wife Kind Campaign founder Lauren Paul; Josh Hutcherson received the Young Humanitarian Award for his commitment to gay rights with Straight But Not Narrow Young Humanitarian Award; Christina Applegate earned the Saint Vintage Love Cures Award for helping women detect early breast cancer through free MRI treatments with the Right Action for Women foundation; Jeff Bridges, along with the night’s musical guest and Music Visionary honoree, P!nk, work together to end youth hunger with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign; plus Jane Seymour and presenter Wilmer Valderrama honored the biz’s philanthropic commitment.
