Casting Roundup: Josh Groban Woos on ‘Muppets,’ Meghan Ory Returns to ‘Once Upon A Time’

Tovah FeldshuhAlexandra Breckenridge and Austin Nichols have been promoted to regulars on “The Walking Dead,” Variety has confirmed. Feldshuh plays Deanna Monroe, the leader of Alexandria; Breckenridge plays Jess Anderson, Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) potential love interest; and Nichols plays Deanna’s (Feldshuh) son Spencer Monroe. All three were recurring characters in Season 5.

“24” alum Dennis Haysbert has joined BBC America and BBC One’s new co-produced political thriller “Undercover” from creator Peter Moffat. The six-part series will premiere in 2016.

Meghan Ory will return as Ruby for multiple episodes “Once Upon a Time’s” fifth season on ABC, TV Line reports.

Miss Piggy‘s new beau on “The Muppets” may not be green, but he can also carry a tune. EW reports that Josh Groban will have a cameo appearances as a suitor for the sassy swine on ABC’s upcoming comedy.

Emily Rios (“Breaking Bad,” “Friday Night Lights”) has joined Ryan Phillippe in “Shooter,” the USA Network pilot based on the Stephen Hunter novel “Point of Impact” and the 2007 Paramount film starring Mark Wahlberg.
