ITV Studios America, the U.S. production flagship of ITV Studios in the U.K., has upped Paul Reaney to senior VP of development, the company announced Wednesday.
Reaney was on the team behind sales of “The Chase” for GSN and “Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris” for NBC. In his new position, Reaney will manage the West Coast development team and focus on growing the company’s development slate across a wide range of genres for broadcast, cable and digital.
Before joining ITV Studios America in 2011, Reaney was VP of development at FremantleMedia, where he oversaw shows including “Down Fall,” “Rock the Cradle” and “Thank God You’re Here.”
“Paul has been a key part of ITV Studios America’s growth over the last few years, from the breadth of projects we have sold to the range of networks we are in business with,” said Bruce Robertson, ITV Studios America’s executive VP of creative strategy. “His creative acumen and development expertise continue to be assets as we expand further, and I’m delighted to have him on the team.”
