IFC Cancels ‘Garfunkel and Oates’ After One Season

IFC has canceled comedy “Garfunkel and Oates” after one season.

The eight-episode series revolved around the fictional alter-egos of actresses Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci (pictured), who perform as the folk-singing duo Garfunkel and Oates. The pair exec produced the IFC comedy with Dennis McNicholas, Fred Savage (who also directed) and Jonathan Stern.

“Garfunkel and Oates” wrapped its run last September.
