‘Game of Thrones’: Kit Harington Suggests He’s Not Done Yet

Despite the seemingly daily announcements of casting additions for season 6 of “Game of Thrones,” one actor’s fate will remain a fan obsession until the HBO series’ spring 2016 premiere.

In an interview with Belgian outlet Humo (which was translated into English via a helpful Redditor), Kit Harington teases that he might not be done with “Thrones” just yet — despite a season 5 finale that suggested that his character, Jon Snow, had fulfilled his Night’s Watch oath.

“The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract … Let’s just say that ‘Game of Thrones’ will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my thirties when it’s over,” he teased.

Harington, who is 28, has kept Jon Snow’s famous long, dark hair. He’s also rumored to have been seen near the set. But he didn’t explicitly say in the interview that he would be returning as that character.

This wouldn’t make HBO president Michael Lombardo a total fibber when he told journalists in July that “dead is dead is dead. He be dead … Everything I’ve seen, heard and read, Jon Snow is, indeed dead.”

“Game of Thrones,” as well as some cast members who are playing most-definitely alive characters, will be battling it out at the Emmy Awards this Sunday on Fox.
