Fox is developing a drama series about the wealthy community in Miami from writer Sascha Penn and exec producer Armando Christian Perez, aka Pitbull.

Jonathan Levine will direct the project, which will follow teenage Willy as he transfers into the nicest private school in Miami and moves in with his uncle, a celebrity chef. The series, for which Fox bought the script with a penalty, hails from Endemol Shine Studios with EVP Jeremy Gold overseeing the project. David Ortiz is a co exec producer.

Outside from TV, music sensation Pitbull is Miami’s unofficial pop music ambassador, known by the moniker “Mr. 305,” the city’s area code.

Levine’s directing credits include films “Warm Bodies,” “50/50” and “The Wackness,” and he created “Rush” on USA. Penn has writing credits on series including Starz’s “Power” and “Survivor’s Remorse,” both of which he also produces.
