President Barack Obama is among the luminaries interviewed in a new special slated to air Friday on Fox News Channel.

“Fox News Reporting: Destiny and Power – The Private Diaries of George Herbert Walker Bush” is slated to air Friday, November 6th at 10 p.m. During the program, which is keyed to the release of the new Jon Meacham book “Destiny and Power: The American Odyssey of George Herbert Walker Bush,” President Obama and former Vice Presidents Dan Quayle and Dick Cheney will reflect on America’s 41st President.  Fox News Channel’s Brit Hume will anchor the special.

The program will offer exclusive first-hand accounts of Bush, including  President George W. Bush and businessman Neil Bush and former Secretary of State James Baker.  Meacham will also appear to discuss his book’s findings.

“He had principles, but he also had common sense,” President Obama said during the interview. ” And when you look at both how he managed foreign policy and when you think about how he handled domestic policy in each case he was thoughtful, restrained, and made good decisions.  And I think that ultimately he was one of the more underrated presidents that we’ve ever had certainly in modern times.”
