The fifth annual Fox Writers Intensive has begun accepting nominations.
Fox designed the program to create a talent pipeline and potential staffing options while helping hone the skills of emerging and experienced writers with diverse voices, backgrounds and life experience.
Cindy Fang was selected this summer as the fourth annual Fox Writers Intensive fellow. After the program, Fang inked a script development deal with Fox Broadcasting Company and 20th Century Fox Television, and was hired on CBS’ new drama, “Rush Hour.”
Nominations can be submitted by one of the FWI’s partner organizations or through talent agents and management companies. Fox selects one finalist to be the fellow following the intensive. The new fellow’s original script will be purchased and developed, and he/she could potentially be given a staff position.
The deadline for nominations and applications is Oct. 16.
