Disney XD Greenlights Comedy Pilot ‘MTX’

Disney XD has ordered a pilot for live-action comedy “MTX!,” starring budding talent Nathaniel Potvin, whose previous credits include Disney’s “Girl Meets World” and “Jessie.”

The concept for the series is that Ryan (Potvin) possesses the power of technopathy, or the ability to control technology with your mind, which he uses to defeat the monsters that an evil corporation sent to destroy his city.

The series also stars Raymond Cham Jr. (“Teen Beach 2”) as Ryan’s older brother Mark. Kamran Allahverdy and Robbie Tucker play Ryan’s friends Harris and Spyder.

The pilot is exec produced and written by Steve Marmel (“Sonny With a Chance”), and directed by Zach Lipovsky (“Dead Rising”).
