Coulier played comedian “Uncle” Joey Gladstone on creator Jeff Franklin’s original series, which ran from 1987 to 1995 on ABC. “Fuller House” will focus on Candace Cameron Bure’s character D.J. — the eldest of the three daughters in the original series who is now recently widowed and needs help raising her own kids. Other returning cast members include John Stamos, who broke the news that the show was a go on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.
No word yet on if Mr. Woodchuck is returning. Or if he’ll be paid in wood.
