‘Crime Watch Daily’ Names Matt Doran Host

Crime reporter Matt Doran will host the first-run syndicated series “Crime Watch Daily.”

Doran joins reporters Michelle Sigona, Andrea Isom and Jason Mattera for the daily syndicated series focused on crime to debut in the fall 2015 on 42% of Tribune-owned stations in 29 markets including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago and other stations covering 98% of U.S. households.

Doran started his career as a police and crime reporter at Melbourne’s Herald Sun before working for Australia’s Network Ten news and the national crime show “Wanted.” Sigona is a producer and reporter who has worked on shows including “America’s Most Wanted” and CBS News’ “48 Hours.” Isom spent 10 years covering crime for Fox in Detroit, while Mattera is the bestselling author of “Crapitalism: Liberals Who Make Millions Swiping Your Tax Dollars.”

The show is created and exec produced by Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey along with fellow exec producers Jeremy Spiegel and Scott Eldridge.
