Comedy Central has extended the series “Workaholics” for two more cycles, giving the program a sixth and seventh season on the Viacom-owned outlet.

Each season will consist of 10 episodes. New shows will begin in January.

Comedy Central said the fourth season of the program earned the highest ratings in its time slot among men between the ages of 18 and 34 and men 18-24.

“Workaholics” tells the story of three friends who work together, live together and party together, with the fun sometimes impinging upon the office.

“Workaholics” was co-created by Mail Order Comedy’s Blake Anderson, Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck. The series stars Anderson, Devine and Holm and is directed by Newacheck. Executive producers include Mail Order Comedy, Kevin Etten, Avalon Television’s Richard Allen-Turner, David Martin, Jon Thoday and Isaac Horne. Jim Sharp and Rachel Olson are the executives in charge of production for Comedy Central.
