A rock band trio of men in Yeti costumes, a chandelier made of deer skulls and live reindeer were among the décor at the taping of Spike’s 2015 Guys’ Choice Awards Saturday at Sony Studios.

Hosts Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard (co-stars on “Empire”) helped honor Chris Pratt as Guy of the Year, Liam Neeson as Biggest Asskicker and Ben Kingsley with the Brass Balls award.

Pratt joked about the winter theme of the awards show while accepting his prize. “Thank you to the Spike Guys awards. I don’t know if you can see this in the background,” Pratt said, referring to a giant deer skull above a fireplace on stage. “I shot that deer, and Spike owes me some money for having it on their fireplace.”

Henson and Howard said they hosted for one simple reason: Black people are taking over television.

“Look, if you’re just tuning in, I promise you this is not BET and this is not Centric,” Howard said to laughter.

“Or TV One, or OWN or ‘Down Home with the Neely’s’,” Henson added, who also won the Jean Claude Gahd Dam award.

Between award presentations, house rock band the One & Only PPL MVR, dressed in Yeti costumes, played on a stage made of ice while fake snow fell.

While receiving his award for Biggest Asskicker, Neeson thanked Spike TV and read the etching on his pair of golden antlers, the statuette all winners received. “Biggest Ass … hole? Thank you guys. Stay classy,” Neeson said.

Model Hannah Davis won the Our New Girlfriend award. “I can honestly say I’ve been dreaming about winning this award ever since they told me about what it was on the way over here,” Davis said.

Other awards included: boxer Floyd Mayweather winning the Best Ever award, Salma Hayek (“Frida”) for Decade of Hotness and Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson for the Troop’s Choice award.

The 2015 Guys Choice Awards will air on June 18 on Spike.
