Crime Thriller Pilot From Greg Berlanti Ordered at NBC

NBC has ordered its second drama pilot of the day.

Blindspot,” a crime conspiracy series from “The Flash” and “Arrow” guru Greg Berlanti, will be produced by Warner Bros. TV and Berlanti Productions. The pilot will be penned by Martin Gero (“The L.A. Complex,” “Stargate: Atlantis”), who will also exec produce with Berlanti.

In the thriller, a mysterious beautiful woman with no memories of her past is found naked in the middle of Times Square with her body covered in fresh tattoos — including the inked name of a FBI agent on her back. The FBI gets involved in the case, which launches a complex conspiracy as they work to find out the truth of her identity, using the tattoos on her body as a road map of clues.

Earlier Friday, the net ordered another conspiracy thriller pilot, “Endgame,” from “The Blacklist” producers.

Blindspot” brings NBC’s drama pilot orders to six. Previously ordered for 2015-16 are “Game of Silence,” “Warrior,” “Love Is a Four Letter Word” and “Curse of Fuentes Woman”.
