Bill Clinton to Appear on ‘Late Show With Stephen Colbert’

Another politician has signed on to appear on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

Bill Clinton will be a guest on the late night show next week, CBS announced Tuesday. The former president will talk to Colbert on the Oct. 6 episode of the “Late Show.”

The appearance comes following the conclusion of the 11th Clinton Global Initiative, which will likely be a topic of conversation for the two, along with wife Hillary Clinton’s Democratic presidential campaign. Clinton joins previously announced guest Billy Eichner and musical performer Florence and the Machine.

Clinton is only the latest political guest to stop by Colbert’s show. First Lady Michelle Obama was on “Late Show” Monday night, and presidential candidates Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders also made appearances on the show. CBS announced Monday that Secretary of State John Kerry has also been added to the roster of guests, set to appear on Thursday night’s episode.

Clinton has previously appeared on several late night shows, including “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart,” “The Late Show” and others.

Clinton’s episode of “The Late Show” airs on 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on Oct. 6 on CBS.
