‘America’s Got Talent’ to Host Auditions on Live Streaming Service YouNow (Exclusive)

NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and video streaming service YouNow are partnering up to host live open auditions for the top-rated talent competition series’ eleventh season.

The partnership will offer “America’s Got Talent” contestant hopefuls the opportunity to pitch their talents to show producers through YouNow’s interactive network during hour-long open casting auditions, which will be held select Wednesdays at 3 p.m. PT and continue for nine weeks beginning Dec. 2.  Impressive acts will earn auditioners the chance to perform in front of “America’s Got Talent” judges.

The auditions’ YouNow platform will allow performers to communicate with producers in real time, as well as showcase acts to the show’s viewers who will be able to follow along from home.  With over 100 million monthly user sessions and 50,000 hours of daily streamed video content, the virtual YouNow auditions will greatly broaden the show’s search for the country’s budding talent.

“With millions of viewers in our audience, talent regularly gets discovered on YouNow.  Having ‘America’s Got Talent’ producers officially review acts on YouNow every week will make the opportunity to be part of the most popular talent show on TV within anyone’s reach,” said YouNow founder and CEO Adi Sideman.
