ABC has ordered two more comedy pilots: an adaptation of the 1989 comedy “Uncle Buck” and a project from “30 Rock” alums shepherded by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.
“Uncle Buck” hails from Universal TV and exec producer Will Packer. Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley penned the pilot about a childish man who winds up taking care of his brother’s children. Cragg and Bradley exec produce with Packer.
“Family Fortune” also comes from Universal TV. Fortune Feimster stars and co-wrote the pilot with Matt Hubbard about a gym teacher in Georgia who comes out to her family and friends, just as her divorced parents begin to rekindle their relationship.
Hubbard reunites as an exec producer with his “30 Rock” showrunners Fey and Robert Carlock. Feimster is a co-exec producer.
