Showtime Networks’ president David Nevins and CBS Global Distribution’s president and CEO Armando Nuñez will deliver a joint keynote at MIPCOM, the Cannes-set international TV market.
Nevins and Nuñez will discuss the global expansion of the Showtime brand, their deal with Bell Media in Canada, the rising demand for multi-platform consumption of Showtime’s premium content, their collaboration with high-profile talent. The pair will also introduce their shows, “Billions” with Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis, and “Twin Peaks” with Kyle MacLachlan.
Complementing their keynote, CBS Studios International will be hosting the world premiere screening for “Billions” on Oct.6.

An Emmy-winning producer, Nevins’s credits include such critically-acclaimed series as “Arrested Development,” “24,””ER” and “The West Wing.” Nevins will be elevated to president and CEO of Showtime Networks on Jan. 1.
Nuñez, CBS’s top international executive, oversees CBS Studios International, which has 13 offices worldwide and is responsible for distributing programming from CBS Television Studios, CBS Television Distribution, Showtime, CBS News and CBS Films and a library of more than 70,000 hours.
“Billions” will bow on Showtime on Jan. 17.
