French pay TV channel Canal Plus has acquired exclusive rights to Oded Ruskin’s spy thriller drama “False Flag” (“Shkufim”) from Keshet International.
The anticipated Israeli series, which world premiered at the Berlinale’s inaugural Special Series section and won the Grand Prize at Series Mania, will be launched at MIPCOM ahead of its bow Keshet Broadcasting later this year.
The pact with Canal Plus, which was brokered by KI Sales Director Nelly Feld, includes exclusive rights to the series in France including TV, home entertainment and on-demand.
Created by Amit Cohen and Maria Feldman and produced by Tender Productions, “False Flag” follows five ordinary citizens who are embroiled in a high-profile kidnapping.
