TOKYO — Fuji TV, one of Japan’s five major commercial networks, has announced that it will supply shows to Netflix’s new service in Japan, which is scheduled to launch this fall.

Fuji is the first Japanese network to have this sort of content deal with Netflix.

The three Fuji shows set for Netflix broadcast include “Terrace House,” a Fuji-produced hit reality show that was originally broadcast from 2012 to 2104. A new made-for-Netflix version will bow with 18 episodes.

The programs will first air on Netlifx, then on Fuji’s terrestrial stations and Web service. The network will also produce subtitled versions of the shows for broadcast abroad.
