Since the dawn of time, the Minions have lived to serve the most despicable of masters. So having completed the mission in their bigscreen prequel “Minions” to find the biggest and baddest boss, the tribe arrived in London Thursday to paint the town yellow.

Bob, Stuart and Kevin, the trio of accidental heroes, bounded into Leicester Square dancing along the minion-yellow carpet up to the Odeon for the global bow.

Voicing Scarlet Overkill, the world’s first female supervillain, Minion boss and subsequent nasty nemesis, Sandra Bullock rolled up to join the haphazard action and dancing, conversing in her finest Minionese, along with helmers Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin.

Producer and CEO of Illumination Entertainment Chris Meledandri gave his analysis of the Minion mindset. “They’re not very good at being bad, even though they want to be bad so badly!”

Conniving Bullock divulged a final warning to the children in the audience, before the film rolled. “You’re going to see me do horrible, horrible things — just know that it’s pretend. I mean, yes, I am a lot like Scarlet, but I don’t want you guys to know that. I just want you to continue living the fantasy that I am nice and sweet.”
