Watch: Taylor Swift Joins Nicki Minaj on Stage at VMAs

Insert the “Bad Blood” jokes here — it looks like the feud between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj is over.

During Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards, Minaj opened the show with a bang, performing “Trini Dem Girls” before introducing a special guest. Swift joined her during “The Night Is Still Young,” sending the audience (and Twitter) into a frenzy.

Swift then launched into her hit “Bad Blood,” and afterword, the two, who previously made headlines for a Twitter beef, hugged it out on stage.

When the nominations were announced, Minaj called out MTV when she was snubbed for a video of the year nomination.

“If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year,” she tweeted. “If I was a different ‘kind’ of artist, ‘Anaconda’ would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well.”

Swift then accused her of “pit[ing] women against each other,” but the two later made up over social media after Swift apologized.

It’s almost time to say goodbye to 2019 and the horse it rode in on — or the horse that dominated the conversation: Lil Nas X’s.
