Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett to Perform at Hillary Clinton Fundraiser

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga will perform at a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in New York on June 24.

The event at the Plaza Hotel is being billed as a one-night only “intimate performance in support of Hillary for America.” They have been on their Cheek to Cheek tour.

Clinton will make remarks at the event, as the campaign seeks to boost fundraising totals before the June 30 quarter Federal Election Commission deadline.

According to the invite, there are a limited number of tickets for $1,000 per person, and $2,700 per person tickets for the premium section.

Those who raise at least $27,000 will be designated as event co-hosts, and those who raise at least $50,000 will serve as hosts. Host committee members will be invited to a reception with Clinton, receive premium tickets and attend an after-party with Bennett and Lady Gaga.

And although her recent videos and [...]

    'West Side Story': Theater Review

Whittled down to one hour and forty-five minutes, “West Side Story” – with book by Arthur Laurents, music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and choreography by Jerome Robbins — has grown exceedingly dark and mislaid some of its moving parts in the new Broadway revival from edgy Belgian director Ivo Van Hove. (Can [...]
