Ed Sheeran and “Orange is the New Black” actress Ruby Rose will host the MTV Europe Music Awards. The pair made the announcement via social media on Wednesday morning.
Sheeran Instagrammed the news that he would be hosting. Soon after, Rose tweeted a fantastical promotional photo announcing that she would join Sheeran as co-host of the “cute and badass show.”
Nominees for this year’s EMAs include Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Ellie Goulding, Shawn Mendes and many, many more. Fans can cast their votes in categories including Biggest Fans, Best World Stage and Best Collaboration.
In addition to his massive radio success, Sheeran will be appearing on the smallscreen this fall on FX’s “The Bastard Executioner.” He also starred in a concert special for NBC in August.
Rose made a splash with her role on season 3 of Netflix’s “Orange is the New Black” over the summer, which earned her the title of “girl crush” with many “OITNB” viewers. She can next be seen in “Resident Evil: The Last Chapter.”
The EMAs will go down in Milan on Oct. 25.
