Pablo Schreiber, Rick Springfield Starring in Music Drama ‘Traces’

“Orange Is the New Black” star Pablo Schreiber, Rick Springfield and Sosie Bacon are starring in “Traces,” currently shooting in Los Angeles.

The film is the directorial debut from Matthew Currie Holmes. Producers are Ted Kroeber (“American Gun”), Roger Goff and Kevin Lamb.

Schreiber portrays a former one-hit wonder who finds himself out of a job when the record store he works at, owned by Springfield’s character, suddenly closes. During a chance meeting at a showcase with an up-and-coming music artist, played by Bacon, he is asked to produce and record her debut album.

Schreiber received an Emmy nomination for “Orange Is the New Black” and stars in Michael Bay’s upcoming “13 Hours.” Springfield was seen in the second season of “True Detective” and “Ricki and the Flash.”

Bacon, the daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, has appeared on “Scream.”

Schreiber is repped by ICM and Circle of Confusion, Springfield is repped by ICM and Bacon is repped by The Kohner Agency and Impression Entertainment.
